Working alongside the contractor Fair and Square Renovations, Kendrick performed a demolition of a residential kitchen and bathroom in Guelph, Ontario.
We had to run power from the basement to the upstairs unit where we installed a sub-panel to save costs.
The second floor apartment needed to be completely gutted. The exterior walls and ceiling were spray foamed and a new floor had to be installed and levelled. As well, we maintained and improved the fire barrier between the two upper units.
We were under the pressure of a tight timeline as the customer was on holidays. Therefore we had to complete the renovation within twenty-four days—the shortest timeline we had ever encountered for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. Thus we worked diligently to put in the necessary hours to complete the work on time and on budget.
The customer was very pleased with the results, leading to repeat business for Kendrick including replacement of the lights for the entire unit. The project was completed in August of 2017.
