Ultramet is an automotive metal stamping company located in Breslau, Ontario.

Kendrick was tasked initially with ensuring that Ultramet complied with government regulations surrounding press safety standards. This meant upgrading all nine of their presses by installing new press control systems from Toledo Integrated Systems Inc.

Scheduled press shutdowns had to be rigorously adhered to, which meant we had to work within a strict timeline on each press.

Kendrick was especially suited for this project due to our vast experience within the automotive sector, particularly with the Toledo system.

We were able to integrate the old controls into the new press systems and successfully finished the upgrades on time and on budget in 2005.

Kendrick has been a contractor for Ultramet for the past 12 years.
